You are encouraged to take a few minutes and fill it out.  It is an opportunity to shine a light on concerns you have.

NAFO Division 4T known as 4T1, 4T8, 4T2a and 4T2b summer fishery will be opening 22-25 March 2022, while 4T9a and 4T9b spring fishery will be open 29-31 March 2022. Both announcements are below (scroll down for the 4T9a and 4T9b announcement).

In addition to the size changes below, please note that the residency clause is not in effect this year for area 26A3.

As a follow up to the September 20th federal election that resulted in a Liberal minority government, the Coalition of Fishing Organizations in Atlantic Canada and Quebec has continued its outreach efforts to politicians. More specifically, the Coalition has sent a letter to PM Justin Trudeau with specific requests to support a stable and sustainable fishery for Canadians and Indigenous Peoples.
